Halloween

The boys had a lot of fun for Halloween this year. We got way too much candy though. We had our annual ward trunk or treat on the 30th and then they boys all had parties at school Friday. Friday afternoon we made it over to Grandma Thurstons so we could take pictures with the cousins and show off costumes. Then it was off to the Marble's for our traditional get together. We all hang out eat soup and sit around a fire pit, take turns passing out candy and walking the kids around trick or treating. It is alot of fun but a much larger group. It was really hard to get all the kids together for a picture. I don't think I really succeeded at getting a picture with everyone in it. The kids had a lot of fun. Alden was captain Rex from starwars the clone wars, Dallin was a Jedi, and Brig was confused for a power ranger but was actually Bumble Bee from Transformers.

I am glad to be on to the next holiday though. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas so much more than Halloween!

Sports worth blogging about....
So the Suns had their first basketball game of the regular season tonight and won against the Spurs. With Asst. Coach Dan Majerle and players like Steve Nash, Amare, and Shaq, who could ask for a better team? We are very excited for this season to get started; it is going to be alot of fun. Okay, truthfully, I really only created this post cuz my niece had this cool picture on her blog and I wanted to use it too. Pretty awesome right? GO SUNS!!!

Brig's Third Birthday!

Brig had a Batman birthday party at the park. We combined it with his cousin Logan because their birthdays are only 4 days apart, and we are cheap! The kids had such a good time playing and while it was a little windy it was cooler so we all enjoyed that. My sister-in-law Sandee made super cute cupcakes like she always does. (I don't know what I would do without her she has made all my kids cakes the last few years, she is awesome!)

Pumpkin Patch

Brig's preschool class went on a field trip to Mother Nature's Farm on Thursday. Dallin got to come with us because he was out of school for fall break. It was really warm but the boys had a lot of fun. Brig's cousins Jalyn and Gavin are in his preschool class with him so that is fun for him too. Scott didn't get to come though because he was on a field trip with Alden's second grade class. Alden was very excited to have his dad with him.

These boots are made for walking

Brig loves to wear shoes and stuff that are not his. he looked so funny I couldn't help but get him to pose for some pictures. My knee high boots went all the way up to his bum and he wears his brothers soccer cleats (on the wrong feet) accessorizing with a bucket hat. Brig knows how to make a fashion statement!

We still love our D-Backs!

They self-destructed at the end but we still love our D-Backs! We took the boys to a baseball game Friday night. It was Brig's first game and he kept asking when it was going to be his turn to hit the ball. The boys got all hyper off of cotton candy but had a good time. They all loved the fireworks after the game too except for Dallin who was a little delusional at that point and was scared Darth Vader was coming when they started playing the Star Wars song. (That was pretty funny actually, I know you shouldn't laugh at your kids but I couldn't help my self).

The soccer season has begun

The boys both had their first soccer game of the season yesterday. Alden played awesome defense. His team is the red fireballs. This is his third year playing and he has a great team. Dallin is playing for the first time and his team is the d-backs. Dallin made a goal and was so excited. Dallin is also on a great team. They both love playing, and are very excited for the season to be underway. Brig can't wait to play either. We keep telling him he is not old enough yet but he still insisted on wearing shin gaurds all afternoon!!!

Spoiled!

It is very pleasing to see that our puppies have gone to good homes. We appreciate the new owners giving us progress reports. This one, however, is living the rough life. NOT!!! She is getting utterly spoiled apparently! The new owners said she is "very sweet and spunky."

Puppy Love

Sasha and Champ became the proud parents of eight on July 21st (Well, really nine but one didn't make it). While I thought it was disgusting, the boys (including Scott) thought it was totally awesome. We have had a lot of fun watching them grow over the last several weeks, especially the boys who have named all 8 puppies. From left to right and top to bottom, we have Champ Jr, Master Pee Wee, Ryker (named by Brig after one of his cousins, sorry Ryker), Two Face (AKA: Pigpen, Feisty), Big Fat Pig, Horsey (again named by Brigham), Lazy Daisy, and last but not least, Brownie (AKA: Pooper Face, for his ability to poop at inopportune times). We are still looking for homes for two of them and the longer they stay, the more attached we are becoming so if you know of any one who wants a dog............

The boys are diligent in asking Heavenly Father to bless the puppies to like their new homes everytime we say prayers.
